I was supposed to launch this new blog awhile ago, but we had a few minor technical issues to fix. There are still a few things I will need to tweak, like the portrait slideshow and the "about us" section, but we wanted to have the new blog up already so we figured we'd sort it out in a few days.....

This blog allows for bigger images, way easier commenting, video embedding and a whole bunch more. I will definitely update often, please check back and dont be afraid or shy to leave some comments.

FIVE FEET, NINE INCHES

That is how tall Dina is when she puts on her new kicks. Better said, her new pumps.

A while ago I remember my wifey mentioning she needed black heels; wait, wait....she didnt "need" new shoes, she has a bunch of barely used shoes, so I guess she "wanted" new black heels :)

So, as I was wandering the mall the other day, thinking and thinking of what she might like....I bumped into these LAMB heels that I thought were just the right compensation for putting up with yours truly for the last 3 years!

OF COURSE THEY ARE LAMB!!!!! I absolutely loooooooove them!!! Dina is so spoiled but I agree she deserves them for putting up with you! I had an idea they were lamb when you sent me that other hot mama pic of her in the animal print dress but of course as I scrolled down on this page I know right away!!! Love love love them. Yeah and the picture is ok :) Have fun in VEgas!!!!!!

One thousand ninety six. Days.

Yup, that's exactly how many days Dina has been "Mrs. Macuil" :)

Our three year anniversary is here and as were packing a few things to take on our little get-a-way trip to Vegas, I thought I'd share a couple of pics from our wedding and honeymoon.....

Here's a photo I love. I took it with my little Nikon D70 as Dina, Christal, Nancy and Michelle were dancing away. It was late already and I had decided to add an accesory piece to Dina's dress....

JUNE 29...

I can't believe that tomorrow it'll be three years since Dina and I were married! I remember I stayed up super-late the previous night trying to get all kinds of last minute things done. Yet, with only a few hours sleep, I woke up and was ready for all the activities of this amazing day. Basically, I was a crazed fool, trying to check, double-check, and triple check all kinds of things. I was nervous. I was scared.

But the following day turned out to be amazing, just about everything went as planned. So many of our close friends and family helped make it an unforgettable, perfect day for Dina and myself. I want to once again thank all our friends and family (you all know who you are) that helped out and joined us for that hot sunny summer day 3 years ago!

I was nervous that day, but the moment I saw Dina in her wedding dress....I was just about speechless. I didn't know what to say, seeing her in her dress was an absolutel beautiful moment. Check her out....

I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN, I KNOW I CAN!

Ok, we all know the iPhone is a cool phone/ipod/browser, but unless you are using plenty of the applications that have been designed for use on the iPhone, you are not taking full advantage of this device.

Dina found a free app called "Lose It", designed to help you lose weight by being your handy-dandy calorie counter. It asks you for your info, height/weight/age/gender, then asks for your "goal".

I decided to try it, it was free anyways. And after one week of using it, I"ve lost 5 lbs. It helps to make you very aware of everything you are about to eat. It "budgets" your daily calorie intake, so when you see yourself reaching the max calorie amount for the day, it really helps you stop eating or start exercising! Try it....

Here are my goals: I started last week at 216lbs, now I'm at 211. By October 11th, I want to be at 190 lbs. I'll post on my efforts every once-in-a-while, just to feel even more obligated to lose those 21 lbs!
