It's hard to believe it's almost two whole years since we went did our Paris-Barcelona-Valencia-Madrid trip! I was looking thru some of the pics and I found these two shots of us in Paris. We had an incredible time there, Dina keeps reminding me that we have to go back. I keep reminding her I'll take her to the next best thing......the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas :)

As I was looking around through our vacation photos, I realized some of these europe images just look so much better in black+white........

For one reason or another, before I was married I had never taken the 4 hr drive up north to visit Hearst Castle. Since we getting married almost four years ago, we've now visited the castle 4 times. Why? Well, quite simply, it's breathtaking overthere! We usually do only one tour at a time, I believe we need one more to finish them all. Yet, everytime we finish our tour and start heading back home, we start discussing when we might come back. Why? Because it makes us happy :)

Hands Down the place is uhhmazing!! We've only done one tour years back. One is not enough though.

We were looking through some of our images hoping to find some that we could enlarge, frame and hang on our walls. We know we definitely want to use one of these images to blow up HUGE! on canvas.....but we cant decide which one to use! The final canvas (or multiple canvas) will be around 70" x 35", so we want to make sure we order the the right one! Let us know which one you like the most and help us make up our minds!

Hi guys,
i think you should pick the first one from the top. The water looks very pretty and blue. So pick the first one.
Both pictures are beautiful. I personally like the top picture better because you can see more colors in the mountains/rocks (whatver you call it) But like I said I don't think you can go wrong.
(12.16.09)Both are Amazing! I choose the bottom. I really like ALL that is captured...the colors of the (canoes/kayaks?)that are lined up..the umbrellas, the people, The two rocks and the gap between that distinguishes this location. I really like how the water looks on the top one.
(12.16.09)... just want to add that I really like how grand those Rocks look...the people,,tiny specks! AWESOME
(12.16.09)I vote for the second pic. The peaks meeting in the middle catches the eye more.
(12.16.09)so beautiful..cant wait to go back. i loove the 2nd one :)
(12.16.09)so beautiful..cant wait to go back. i loove the 2nd one :)
(12.16.09)I vote for the 2nd one. Love it.
(12.16.09)I have to agree, i like the second one better
(12.16.09)I like the first pic. the clarity of the water is very relaxing and truly takes you into vacation mode. In the second pic the water is a little more blurred and to me theres more of a rock focus
(12.16.09)I would say go with the first one. You have more colors. Two set for water; the blue right up front and the green that is seen closer to the beach. The fact that you captured the green plants on the rocks makes them look redder and adds a good crisp contrast between the two. The rocks on the second picture look a little too blurry and kind of bland.
(12.17.09)They are both amazing. But the first image seems more proportinal for a large cavan. So when can I have you two on the Opus?
(12.17.09)love the first one!!!
(12.22.09)Gosh, its been a while. I don't like the second one because my eye is automatically drawn to the open space between the rocks. I feel like I'm not getting the most out of the whole scenery. Both are great, but I would go with the first one.

So, we've been on solid ground for about a week now. And I'm still dizzy.
We decided a cruise was a great way to rest, relax and have a lot of fun, so, we booked a Carnival cruise this year to explore the "Mexican Riviera". It turns out we were right, we had a great time, we slept, ate, slept, watched shows, had a drink, slept, ate, went to gym, slept some more :)
Needless to say, I gained like 5 lbs! I'll post a review of the cruise a little later, but for now I wanted to share one of the many little adventures we experienced on vacation.
Well, as we docked in Cabo San Lucas and made our way down the port/marina, we noticed these little funny-looking "wildlife huts". As we neared them and peered into the cages, we saw the most adorable sight ever. A baby tiger and a baby lion! When we realized that we could take a photo with them for a $35 donation, we wasted no time in paying the donation and getting our photo taken with them. Yes, yes, I know....it's actually pretty cruel that they have these wild animals there, in 110-degree heat, working long, long shifts just for profit....but....we just couldnt resist!
Now, reflecting back on the size of both the tiger's and lion's claws, we sure did take a risk. Although cute and cuddly, these animals are wild and could accidentally scratch either one of us and cause some serious damage! But oh well, at least we have some cool photos and video :)
Here's a pic a friend took with our camera....(I'll scan and post our "official" photo later)
the tigers dont seemed amused
(10.26.09)Wow those kitties are sooo cute!! I love cats but looks like only Dina knows how to hold the kitty in an orderly manner lol poor tiger. On the other hand I love your tans :)
(10.28.09)That's actually the way we were told to hold the Tiger and the Lion when we sat down to take the picture.
We didn't get video but it was really amazing to be with those glorious animals :) Good times
Ok, so Dina...you took modeling to a whole new level. You were not gonna let that lion take you down without a good shot! That is so cute!
(10.31.09)Cool Video! Poor tiger I would have been mad too if I had a broom in my face. Nice memories!
(11.02.09)they were soo cute!:) when do you ever get the chance to hold and take a picture w a real baby lion and tiger, never..i regret not taking a picture w them :(
(11.18.09)How cool Abraham, you guys look so relaxed even with the animals on top of your laps!! That's great!!
(02.25.10)Wow, its like having a preview to Isaiah 11:6. I am going to have a tiger one day!
